Roger | |
|
Roger is everything that makes democracy fail. He's every idiot with whom you've ever had the misfortune of talking politics. Or TV for that matter. He's the reason Wings was on the air for so many years. He was the kid in your grade 2 class who still ate paste. But what sets Roger apart is his soul. He truly does mean well, whatever it is he's doing. And he cares about the people in his life sincerely. People like this are rare. Roger doesn't have a lot of back story. He is cursed by the ghost of Brad Anderson to write new Marmaduke strips for the papers, which is how he makes a living. He is also in love with Gyrlf. For no reason in particular. Just that Gyrlf's full name is Rogersgyrlfrunt, which Roger interprets as Roger's Girlfriend. Further confusing the matter is the fact that Roger and Gyrlf are now married, which should make Gyrlf's name Rogerswife. But doesn't. |
